Setup server
In order to use VoipOperator an account to Asterisk Manager API. Accounts are defined in /etc/asterisk/manager.conf or manager_custom.conf. An account consists of a set of permitted IP hosts, an authentication secret (password), and a list of granted permissions. The account must have read/write permission for the "call" privilege. You can use an existing account or add a new one. If you are not the Asterisk administrator ask your administrator.
For example:
[voipoperator] secret=mypassword deny=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 permit=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 read=system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user write=system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,userSetup Client
The first time you execute VoipOperator the following window appears. You must enter the PBX address, the account name and secret key and your extension. You can change the settings later.
